99 Ideas...

...before you get to that good one.  This is one of my dad's phrases I latched onto.  So I continually blurt out ideas to friends and family hoping that maybe the 100th gem will be next and we'll all live better for it.  And if it's not, well, we all enjoy a chuckle.

I'm happy to say I think entering the blogging sphere IS a great idea.  I'm long overdue and hope it will be a fun way to connect.  We're presently enjoying a MN snow day that will keep the DH and kids home, and I'm planning to stake it out as my sew day to make some major progress on putting together a one block wonder quilt top.  I'm itching to get to designing the border (have lots of ideas, oh no...did it again) but first have to get through the drudgery of sewing all of these pieces together.  Even so, it's fun to see "the power of the seam" as all of it comes together and your eyes blend all the swirling movement together.  Here's the sneak peak...
